Provide for their children: Job 42:15 In all the land were found no women so beautiful as the
daughters of Job; and their father gave them an inheritance among their
brothers. Correct their children: Hebrews 12:7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons;
for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? Instruct their children: Deuteronomy 4:9 "Only take heed to yourself, and diligently keep
yourself, lest you forget the things your eyes have seen, and lest they depart
from your heart all the days of your life. And teach them to your children and
your grandchildren,
Train their children: Deuteronomy 11:19 You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when
you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you
rise up. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old
he will not depart from it. Ephesians 6:4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but
bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. |
